What do you love?

I have been known to only like four bands:  Widespread Panic, Pearl Jam, Phish and My Morning Jacket. I have decided that I will start listening some new music and open up my library.

A friend told me “I can totally see Portugal. The Man being the next big arena rock band, they are that good.” So I gave them a listen and I’m totally on board.  It’s sorta Beatles/Oasis -sh > MMJ.  I dunno, check out the video and give em a chance.  I’m totally digging.

Our most popular blog posts have always been about the hottest nail color. Whenever I’m headed to get a mani or pedi I quickly text a friend and ask what color to get. And when I walk into a nail salon I feel like I’m at the Starbucks counter, encouraged to make a quick decision.

I am so excited for the football season!  Never a sports fan in my life, even though I was a cheerleader for 10 years!  You would think I would understand the game.  After meeting Beth, she has me so excited for My first fantasy league. Her website gets you enthusiastic to pick the best team, and learn the sport.

We have a friendly competition go on on the block, between die hard…Eagles fan, NY Giants fan, Redskins, Broncos, and of course my home team Baltimore Ravens.  As  a born and raises Baltimore girl..my loyalty has to go to the Ravens, (at least for my 1st defense pick).

I also was fortunate enough to meet Tara. Girl knows her sports! Love it!  Beth and Tara have me so excited to learn how to have fun with my friends and family.  These girls were interviewed last year on Mix106.5 and had GGF socials downtown.  Beth has such a natural love for football, she was recently hired by ModernMom.com (Brooke Burke’s site) to write a weekly sports blog.
