Oh hey – did you notice something to the right here? My top 10 list of 2019 at the moment (ATM). Yes, I love TV and food obviously. And speaking of food, am I the only person who has to constantly eat when they have the flu? I mean, how is that even possible? Aren’t I supposed to drop a few lbs. while sweats drips out of me from every pore? TMI.

Towards the end of 2018 I became obsessed with Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. There were so many instant connections from the beginning. A Jewish girl, upper west side – apartment 9C. I wanted to make the second series last so I held out until yesterday when I finally finished it between my Tamiflu intake.

It’s amazing to see New York set in the 1950’s. What blows my mind is that is when my parents were running around Manhattan. And the fashion. Everything that dawns on “Midge” is like out of a 19050’s Vogue magazine. Incredible.

Not that I have seen her in anything else, but I can’t imagine Rachel Brosnahan as anyone else but Miriam Weissman Maisel. She is this perfect, beautiful, HILARIOUS character that she plays so brilliantly.

And Alex Borstein, who plays Mariam’s manager/friend is outstanding. I kept watching and listening to her voice and trying to place it. And then I finally hit me – that’s fucking Lois from the Family Guy! These two make the best duo I have seen on television in such a long time.

I don’t like to give a lot away when I write, but trust me when I say, when you are ready for a break from reality tv and ready to be taken back in time and laugh your ass off then you have found your next binge.

There’s one thing you need to know. When you are about to go out there and do something that is out of your comfort zone, or something that you are a bit nervous about, I have two words for you:  TITS UP!
